After taking home the prestigious Tobin Family Award in September, Kieran Wooley had just a couple of weeks at home before heading back to the states for more competitions.

Kieran does a great job of keeping his sponsors and stakeholders up to date with his movements and has just filed this report.

“As you probably already know, last Saturday I flew back to America for a few comps. I have been here for a bit over a week now and I am loving it!

I skated the HotWheels Junior Open competition at Woodward West on the weekend. I decided to compete in each discipline (Street, Vert and Mini ramp) so it was an extra busy day practicing for the comps.

The standard of skating was exceptionally high with the best junior skaters in North America (and elsewhere) present.

I skated the advanced division for each comp and was pumped to take 4th in Street, 3rd in Vert (on the world famous Animal Chin Ramp) and 2nd in Mini ramp.

My extra wild news for this week is that I received an invitation to skate in the Park World Championships in Nanjing, China.

I was one of three Australian men to receive an invitation and I am extremely honored to represent our country.

So I have a week and a half left in California, 4 days at home and then off to China. I can’t wait! I hope you’re having as much fun as I am.

I don’t have any quality photos this week but I do have plenty of video on the way and I’m sure the official photos will be sick!”
