IAS Athletes at Wingecarribee Council Presentation

Congratulations to the seven IAS athletes who were presented with certificates by the Mayor of Wingecarribee, Councillor Ken Halstead on Thursday night in the Wingecarribee shire’s council chambers.

Well done to the Rugby 7s girls Olivia Daley, Katelyn Hall, Eloise Fleming and Emily Hall, and also to Liam Hinchcliffe (triathlon), Jordan Lillie (hockey), and Summer Lewis (basketball).

Mayoral receptions are part of the personal and professional development of athletes and provide an opportunity to for coaches and athtletes to be officially recognised by their community.

Many thanks to the Wingecarribee Shire Council for their hospitality and also to the other four councils who along with Wingecarribee provide vital funds and support to the Illawarra Academy of Sport.
